Description:
This site includes a survey of the Institute’s archival collections http://www.math.ku.dk/arkivet/colllist.htm.
The survey provides links to inventories for most of the collections, including
the archives of Harald Bohr and the Danish Mathematical Society. Text is in
Danish and English, although most of the inventories are in Danish only.

Description:
This site provides information about an editing project involving the
correspondence of Arnold Sommerfeld, one of the pioneers of atomic physics.
About 600 letters from his scientific correspondence will be published in two
volumes. The website also allows online access to a database of Sommerfeld’s
correspondence which can be searched in various ways, including by date,
personal name and subject. Text on the site is in German.

The Archives of the Dipartimento di Astronomia relate to the scientific and
administrative life of the Osservatorio Astronomico di Bologna. There is a guide

The HMC site provides information about the indexes to the National Register of

starting place for a search for surviving papers.
Description:
NAHC’s aims include listing records relating to the History of Computing in
Britain, promoting their preservation and the establishment of an oral history
archive. The site includes descriptive lists for the Archive's collections.

The NCUACS locates, catalogues and finds permanent places of deposit for the
manuscript papers of distinguished contemporary British scientists and
engineers. The site includes a guide to collections catalogued and summary lists
of collections completed by the unit, arranged alphabetically, chronologically,
by discipline and by repository. The site also presents NCUACS's recent Progress

Description:
The archives of the UK national science academy are a major history of science
resource. There is a searchable
archive catalogue (incorporating the Sackler Archive Resource) available online.
The archive catalogue holds the election certificate collection and other
listed papers dating back to the foundation of the Society in 1660. Other
materials catalogued include portraits, busts and some photographs. The Sackler
Archive Resource comprises biographical records of Fellows from 1660.

Description:
The Armagh Observatory site includes a brief historical introduction and a list

considerable importance to the history of Irish astronomy.

The JIC is an independent centre for research and training in microbial and
plant science. The history of JIC
is well-documented and its archives are an important resource for scholars in

A2A which is hosted by the National Archives (formerly Public Record Office) is
the English strand of the UK national archives network. It allows researchers to
search or browse full text catalogues from archive repositories in England.
As of September 2003 the A2A database contained over 5 million catalogue
entries and from over 300 repositories. In
the first phase of A2A development a Web of Science Archives consortium led by
the Royal Society and including Geological Society of London, Imperial College
London, Natural History Museum, the Institutions of Civil and Mechanical
Engineers, the Royal Institution and the NCUACS delivered over 27,000 catalogue
pages (a quarter of a million catalogue entries) to A2A, ensuring the good
representation of science and technology archives to this resource.

As a large proportion of Britain’s science and technology archives,
particularly those of individuals, are held by university archives, the Hub is a
crucial information resource
Description:
AIM25 is a major project to provide electronic access to collection level
descriptions of the archives of over fifty higher education institutions and
learned societies within the greater London area.
Although it does not have a particular focus on archives for the history
of science, technology and medicine, because it includes Imperial College London
and a number of leading scientific institutions and medical colleges, it is an
extremely significant research resource for this area.
