"The Journal for the History of Astronomy is devoted to the history of astronomy, astro-physics and cosmology, from prehistoric times to the present day. Its subject matter extends to such allied fields as the history of navigation, timekeeping and geography, and the use of historical records in the service of astronomy" (from the front matter of 40:1 (2009)).
